Phototag Update. . . (sniffle. sob.)
The Lost Soul Companion Project recently heard from a lady with some Phototag experience. Looks like we may have to go back to the drawing board...or at least be willing to wait a very long time before we get even one camera back. So far, we haven't heard a peep! Sigh...
"Hi, my daughter's 5th grade class did a photo tag thing a few years back, only they had it attached to a stuffed animal and the pictures were to be of that animal doing things in a new place. We had to ask for the first people to pass it on, and on and on... until about a year later it showed back up in the mail. I think the thing that made that work was the asking of people to do it, and not just leaving it.
Why not try again, only ask people on your bulletin boards to buy a camera and take a picture, of themselves and the place where they live and then have them pass it on to someone from out of town, till it is empty and have it shipped to the original person to develope. Then the picts can be scanned and posted, perhaps a note book can go along with the camera? I'd do something like that..."
